You may have had the experience of driving off to the shops or work, then getting lost in the thoughts and waking up as you pull into the parking lot. During the drive you had hundreds of thoughts, images and impressions cross your mind. Some of those thoughts triggered emotions, which in turn led to other thoughts. It is as if the car was on automatic and drove itself.
This meditation is designed to help you observe your mind and its tendency to jump continuously from one thought to another. It will help you be more mindful of what you’re thinking, which in turn will help you bring your focus and concentration to whatever subject or task you choose.
